Sagarmatha Export Import House was founded in 1999 when three Kathmandu businessmen realized the need for a reliable, efficient and authentic export/import company to serve the needs of clients around the world. They took their established and flourishing Pashmina manufacturing workshop in Kathmandu and used it as a vehicle to launch Sagarmatha.

Since then, Sagarmatha has become one of the leading Export Import companies in Nepal, setting the standard in Nepali Handicrafts. Sagarmatha’s Pashmina workshop is still thriving, but it has now expanded its manufacturing to include woolen products and also trade in a variety of Nepali and Tibetan items.

Our office is located in the central Thamel area of Kathmandu and our manufacturing workshop is nearby. We are associated with the Handicraft Association of Nepal, the Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Export Council of Nepal. All of these organizations have an active role in promoting and marketing Nepali handicraft Products around the world. We are a government registered Export Company and permitted to export all types of Nepali and Tibetan handicrafts.
